Parkerville school was the kick off point this week. MM and SRB managed to use less than 20kg of flour this time, much to the disappointment of wheat traders in the local area. The running pack missed many of the early false trails but fell fully for the REALLY big one about half way through which closed the pack up again, and also saw the runners mingle with the walkers. We nearly lost Kamikaze in the bush looking for Xena the dog, who was actually not lost at all but had snuck back to the pack! Good to see GPS with us again, and his Grandson doing very well indeed. The first runners got in after only about 35 mins - it was a fast run but Skippy said it was good so that was a good sign! Remaining runners and walkers arrived soon after, and we all tucked in to nibbles provided by Made Muffin. |
