The Hills Hash gathered in Sawyers Valley for the Mother's Day Run. There was a very good turnout, and Leapfrog immediately got our attention in the starting circle by advising us there were 2 chocolate frog stops along the way. Good to see a Hasher from the past turn up - Pi Eyed, and Kamikaza Ali also brought a friend along. The run celebrated 3 of Xena the Hash Hound's favourite walks, and we were challenged to find her lost dog tag as we made our way around. The run was great, with some devilishly long false trails. Torch managed a supremely huge shortcut, appearing by magic at the front of the pack towards the end. The walkers and runners arrived at the last chocolate frog stop just about at the same time, and we made our way back to Passiona and Lepfrog's house for a BBQ. At the closing circle, El Keeno was congratulated on completing his 100th run and has his engraved mug to look forward to. |
